In March 2020 all singing stopped, and many choirs are only now starting to meet again in person. Although some choirs met online throughout the pandemic, many choir members feel vocally out-of-shape, and in need of an MOT for their voice.
This is where Battersea Choral Society - in partnership with Vocal Boot Camp - can help.

On Sunday 3rd October, we are offering singers from any choir the chance to have a complete vocal overhaul, with focus on every aspect of vocal technique from posture, to breathing, to resonance and tone. The team of experts for the day includes renowned singing teachers Carys Lane and Sam Evans, Feldenkrais practitioner and professional soprano Anita Morrison, and Alexander Technique teacher Catherine Fleming.
Working in a carousel format, they will use their skills and decades of experience to help you get in touch with your body, recover your posture for singing, and improve the range, power and flexibility in your voice.
At the end of the day there will be a chance to put all your learning into practice, by singing extracts from Mozart’s Requiem, led by Battersea Choral Society’s Music Director, Sam Evans
