what is VBC: MOVING BEYOND PERFORMANCE ANXIETY?
Have you ever doubted that you could do yourself justice, not been able to catch your breath or control that long phrase, reach that scary note? Have you ever wished something was cancelled, just so that you didn’t have to do it? The sweating, the shakes, the sleepless nights going over words that just won’t go in, the absolute panic that you can’t remember the words at all. It’s all too common for so many singers and can range from feeling a little nervous and having moments of doubt to being utterly debilitating, removing the joy from the careers we’ve worked so hard for.
Since our inception just over a year ago, Vocal Boot Camp has been working hard to listen to your needs. Performance Anxiety is a subject that has come up time and time again. We are absolutely delighted therefore, to be able to bring you Jacqueline Branson Thom who has worked internationally for over twenty years helping to alleviate performance anxiety and its related worries for hundreds of singers.
how THE COURSE works
Jacqui has designed a fantastic course exclusively for VBC to help participants fulfill their potential and free themselves from the anxiety they experience.
Over six online sessions (available on catch-up afterwards) Jaqueline aims to address your performance anxiety, memory, focus and equip you with both the science behind the fear and the tools to help calm yourself when under pressure. Each session is 90 minutes long, with time to interact with Jacqui during the session, so that it is more free flowing at times and meets your needs on any given week.
WHEN? Every Thursday morning at 9.30am. Each session is available via on-demand after the live session for the entire duration of the course!! That’s 6 whole weeks to watch whenever you want!
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
On Zoom. You will receive the Zoom link via email before the course starts. The Zoom link is also accessible by logging on to your profile on our website site and selecting 'My Bookings'.
WHAT IF I'M NOT AVAILABLE AT 9:30AM EACH DAY? ARE THE SESSIONS RECORDED?
Yes! You can access all the sessions on-demand from their live date until a week after the final session. After the first session is available, you'll be sent instructions and a link to the videos. We require you to sign an online video user agreement before receiving your video link. You will only need to do this once.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
£120 for the entire course!
